Elevating awareness for social enterprise tackling homelessness

Organization: Pallet

Situation: Pallet, a small but mighty social-purpose company on a mission to end unsheltered homelessness, needed to gain rapid awareness in key California markets. Several municipalities were making urgent decisions about shelter solutions—and Pallet’s new, improved temporary shelter needed to be part of the conversation.

Solution: We created and executed a high-impact California Roadshow, literally taking the new shelter on the road—mounted on a flatbed trailer—to meet government officials, decision makers, and legislative staff where they were. The strategy was as bold as the product: bring the solution directly to those shaping housing policy, and let them experience it firsthand.

Results: The Roadshow made stops at high-visibility sites including the California State Capitol in Sacramento and city halls in Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco, as well as several smaller municipalities. The response was immediate and enthusiastic—officials were impressed by the innovation and speed of Pallet’s approach.

Media coverage exceeded expectations, generating nearly 150 broadcast and print features, including eight TV stations in Los Angeles and six in San Diego competing for interviews with our CEO. The Roadshow not only amplified Pallet’s visibility but established it as a credible, scalable partner in the effort to address homelessness.
